After many years doing work for and consulting with companies that asked him to help rebuild their sales processes, Terry determined that the real challenge for many firms is to rid themselves of the widely held misperceptions about effective sales management and operations. He has spent his entire career developing new approaches that address the realities of creating, organizing and managing successful sales teams.
Terry has 30 years of experience across business development, sales operations, and executive management. He has worked with leading companies including Culligan International, Cendant Corporation, Whitman-Hart/MARCHFIRST, Digital Equipment Corporation, and others. He has also consulted with numerous companies to help them improve their sales operations and processes, resulting in enhanced revenue growth, improved profitability, scalability, and happier customers.
Over the course of his extensive sales leadership career, Terry has created a broad body of intellectual capital that now constitutes MBA4Sales. Terry has consulted with literally hundreds of clients about technology, strategy and sales issues ranging from implementing CRM and ERP to training sales personnel in new sales processes. His business passion is focused on revenue growth and on helping clients to build the right operational practices that result in sales success.
Terry resides in the Austin, Texas area with his wife and whenever possible, rides bicycles, has a good glass of wine, and plays with his grandkids.
